During my stay at the SVYASA Yoga University in Bangalore, I was able to be present at the celebration of the 25 years (I think) of the University. For two days they had a special program with some shows. The first day they had some sketches prepared by some of the students. They were a bit funny cause they had only one day to prepare.
But the next day they had a presentation by a group of professional dancers. It was a beautiful performance and in the end, they made a representation of the story Pancha Koshas or five sheaths or bodies.
The story tells about a boy that asked his father guru about the nature of reality. So the guru told him to perform discriminative analysis to find out what it is.
With the guidance of his guru, the boy was able to discover one by one the five bodies. The Annamaya Kosha or Physical body, the Pranamaya Kosha or Energy Body, the Manomaya Kosha or Mental Body, the Vijnanamaya Kosha or Causal Body and finally the Anandamaya Kosha or Blissful Body.
